Many years ago, I dreamed about Vancouver .I heard about its education,its beautiful scenery,and its warm-hearted people.In 1997,my husband went to Seattle to study English at Seattle institute.Then he went with his friend to Vancouver for a few days.When we got married,he told me about spectacular Vancouver city.After I graduated,I registered in a government scholarship program.After that, my dream become a reality.I got a scholarship to study master's degree in Canada.After a few months,I arrived in Vancouver . Ifound Vancouver was safe.I love Vancouver so much ,and I felt that I was in my country .Then I went to the University of British Columbia ELI to check the location .I found that all the teachers there were so helpful and warm hearted.When I came again for the first day of testing ,I worrid.It might be a different experience for me .Now,I try to be relaxed.To sum up, I really like Vancouver and ELI very much.

I am glad that you are finding your experience here is rewarding. Staying in a place for a long time is always a different experience from visiting it for a short time. Often when we visit for a short time we are there for a vacation, but when we live there for a long time, as you are doing here, you experience life as a resident, you see changes in the weather and you beging to imagine what is is like to be there permanently. I hope that you continue to get the most of your time here.
